| Thanks for the nice write-up, Greg! Whenever people have trouble with the knock sensor they often move it to a more convenient place on the plenum. I suspect the knock sensor was located deep in and on the block with good reason: that's where you get the most accurate response out of the sensor. Are those Zs that moved their knock sensor a greater risk because the sensor is less sensitive, i.e. the stock ECU wouldn't even pick up on the wrong gas, or a tuner might overboost the engine because he couldn't recognize the onset of knock early enough? Or do you believe changing the sensor location is no big deal?
